LOCATION

The hotel is a short walk to the central Termini railway station, and one hour or less by car from Rome’s Fiumicino and Ciampino airports. It is prominently located in the heart of Rome within the Piazza della Repubblica, a main thoroughfare leading to the political, social and tourist hub of the city, the Exedra overlooks the Santa Maria degli Angeli Basilica designed by Michelangelo (1561), and the historical ruins of the Baths of Diocletian (298-306 B.C

 

 

MAIN ARRIVAL POINTS

From the Airport (Leonardo da Vinci - Fiumicino Airport)
By taxi it takes around 45 minutes. The fare of the taxi drivers of Rome is € 40,-. You can recognize their white taxi’s standing in line with a Rome sign on the side of the car. The price is inclusive of luggage, for a maximum of four passengers, for all destinations with in the Aurelian Walls, delimiting the central area of the city of Rome. The taxi drivers of Fiumicino will probably approach you actively outside the airport but their fare is € 60,-.

 

By train (Leonardo Express) it takes around 35 minutes, and costs around €11,- This train leaves every half hour between 06.37 and 23.37. Going back to the airport they leave every half hour between 5.52 and 22.52.

 

From the Railway station (Termini Station)
The station is less than 1 km away. It is a short walk on foot, from the Station toward Piazza della Repubblica, see map below. Both taxi as going by foot will take you between 5-10 minutes.

 

From the highway
The highway is approximately 4 km away. Take the Roma Nord exit and follow the signs for Via Salaria downtown, then for the Termini Station.

 

 

 

GETTING AROUND

Rome's historic city centre is easy to explore on foot, as many attractions are located close together. The city has an efficient public transport system, including trams, buses, suburban trains, and metro (underground). Tickets can be purchased from tobacconists and ATAC ticket machines, and should be bought prior to boarding. Single tickets cost 1 EUR, and are valid for 75 minutes, covering one metro trip and unlimited bus travel.
